Papaya Milkshake (Paka Peper Milkshake)

I always try to add fruits to my breakfast mainly for health reasons. A heavy breakfast supplemented with seasonal fruits is a great starter for the day. During this summer, I found that Papayas are available aplenty. I like the sweet, ripe papaya, slightly reddish in colour which however is not always easy to come across. So I indulged in preparing papaya milkshake which came out pretty well. It looked much attractive wearing a soothing colour of saffron. I added a pinch of cardamom to do away with the typical raw smell. So kids and elders who are not really fond of papaya fruit in pieces, should like it as a thick delicious milkshake. One can have this milkshake as an afternoon drink also.

And mind it, papaya has its share of health benefits as well. It is rich in vitamin A and C, other minerals and contains the enzyme papain which is very good for digestion. It is a powerful antioxidant. It improves heart health, fight against inflammation, protect against skin damage and takes care of hair health. Read more about the health benefits of papaya here.

If you are a fruit lover then you can like Jamer Sharbot (Black Plum/Jamun Juice) too.
